Second Spin is a circular textile waste management initiative in India. We collect, sort, and recycle post-consumer and institutional textile waste—such as uniforms, bedsheets, and garments—while creating green jobs and supporting waste workers. Our services are currently active in cities like Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi.
Institutions like hotels, hospitals, and schools can partner with Second Spin to responsibly dispose of their old textiles. We provide scheduled pick-up, sorting, recycling, and even a waste management certificate. Reach out via our website or LinkedIn to set up a textile collection partnership in India.
The textile waste collected by Second Spin is sorted into categories. Based on the textile waste recovery, we send the sorted textile waste for upcycling or recycling. The waste is made into new yarns, products that is sold back in the market. Polyester blended materials are processed into new materials like The GoodFelt. Second Spin works with verified recyclers and manufacturers to ensure traceable, ethical waste recovery.
